Kevin serves as the general manager of CrowdSource; an independent business division created by The Dallas Morning News to meet the operational, marketing and promotional needs of event organizers and live-event producers in categories ranging from education and information to entertainment and sports. CrowdSource also produces Savor Dallas, the largest wine and food event in Texas.
Kevin joined DMNmedia in March 2017 with expertise in new business development, strategic brand management and event planning. He brings more than 16 years of media, advertising, marketing and publishing experience to the team.
Prior to joining DMNmedia, Kevin’s previous experience includes serving as director of integrated marketing and events for CBS Radio’s six-station cluster in D-FW, general manager of sales for Jack FM in D-FW, and more than 11 years with Village Voice Media Group in various roles, from group publisher for Dallas Observer and Riverfront Times in St. Louis, Miami New Times publisher to various advertising director positions in Los Angeles, Kansas City and Cleveland.
Kevin is a graduate of Florida State University and holds a master’s degree from St. Thomas University. He is married to wife, Rita, and they have three children, Maya, Matteo and Kye.
